Contagious comes out in Hardcover on December 30th
If you've followed our advice, particularly mine, you already listen to Scott Sigler. When I was working on my Sigmas Episode helper post, I realized that I have forgotten one critical item.
Yes, I've talked a bunch about his book tour, but the thing I forgot to mention is that the book he's touring for, Contagious, is being released in hardcover on the 30th.
If you would like to help Scott out, then pre-order a copy of it from your favorite retailer, preferably one that reports their sales to the New York Times. Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Borders all do, you're going to have to ask the smaller stores. You can also click on the banner on the right, or go to http://scottsigler.com/preorder.
Why pre-order Contagious you ask? Well, for one, Scott makes really good stuff. His fiction is great, and he doesn't charge a penny for it. What we all want is for Scott to be able to make a living writing fiction. Here's some more reasons (if you need them):
1. If Scott makes a living writing fiction, he can then write more fiction.
2. The more fiction Scott writes and records, the more fiction we get for free.
3. Other authors will see that Scott is making a living doing it, and will be encouraged to put their work out there for free too.
4. The good authors will rise to the top of this free fiction buffet, and the end result is more choice for you and me.
I can go on and on, but I won't.
Pre-orders will all be logged as sales for Dec 30th. The higher that number is, the more momentum the book will have, which means more sales it gets (see reasons above).
I'm ordering mine so that I have something for Scott to sign when he comes to Denver. How cool will that be, to have a signed first edition Sigler?
